STAR PREP ACADEMY PARENT ASSOCIATION
SPRING NEWS

Our first column!  So excited that we will be contributing to our school newsletter with our very own SPAPA column every month.  I have been wanting a newsletter like this one since we first began at the school. Now Marisa has developed this and I for one am very proud of it.

We are working on rescheduling Game Night (probably April 19), scheduling a family hike, a “Prom Boat Float,” Oh, and the Clam Bake at Dockweiler Beach - Bonfires and all.  Would love for some of these things to become traditions at our school and then we can work on adding more things for our community.

We have also been working on fulfilling the teacher wish list, getting details for their items, helping with the school play, taking the kids to buy props, funding a project for Donovan and Max who are working on improving a system at school.  There seems to always be something going on.

We are hoping to get the city to pave the back alley and designate it a one-way alley to help with the traffic flow.  Tomorrow I will meet with 11/12th school advisory to get their opinion on Prom. Looking forward to it!

I’m just listing all these activities because I want you to know that many things go on behind the scenes in SPAPA, with lots of amazing parents helping to enrich everyone’s school experience.

I want to welcome Thomas and Marisa on behalf of SPAPA and wish them loads of success.  I wish you all a Good Passover and a Happy Easter and lively Spring. Enjoy your families.
